MATBABYWEN is a fleece-lined winter anorak for the smallest children, built around a back zip that runs the full length of the hood and body. Opening the anorak completely from behind removes the need to pull it over a baby's or toddler's head, which is what makes dressing and undressing quick enough for nursery drop-offs, pram transitions and the moments when a small child needs to come inside without delay.

The 12,000 mm (WP) waterproof rating and taped seams are what make the anorak genuinely waterproof rather than water-repellent, since even a highly rated fabric lets moisture through untaped stitching in sustained rain. Windproof construction and 8,000 g/m²/24h breathability work together to block cold air while releasing built-up heat during active movement, helping avoid the clammy feeling that follows energetic play in less breathable baby outerwear.

THERMOLITE padding and a soft fleece lining hold warmth close to the body, tested to keep a child comfortable down to -25 degrees Celsius when stationary and layered appropriately. Ribbed cuffs at the wrists and around the face seal against draughts without needing separate closures, while the large front pocket with snap-button fastening provides storage and houses the reflective MINI A TURE star, visible to drivers from up to 300 metres in low light.
